Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has emphasized that Black Stars will not underrate any of their opponents.

He made this remark after the four-time African champions were paired with Angola, Niger and Sudan in Group F in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Thursday.

With the qualifying games scheduled to kick off in September later this year, Asante Twum revealed that the technical team led by Otto Addo have started working to ensure qualification and added that the team will not underrate any side.

"The technical team led by Otto Addo have started working to ensure we qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)," he told Asempa FM.

"We have participated in every in the last decade or even more but we are in a group that we don't have to underestimate any of the opponents.

"Work has already started and we hope to qualify this time as well," he added.

Meanwhile, Ghana, aiming for their fifth AFCON title, continue their quest to reclaim continental glory.

The Black Stars’ last AFCON triumph dates back to 1982, making their campaign under coach Otto Addo crucial for national pride and footballing success.
