Kumasi Asante Kotoko have confirmed terminating the contracts of seven more players, bringing the total number of departures to 18.
The club on Tuesday announced that they have parted ways with 11 players including skipper for the side, Ibrahim Danlad.
The seven players leaving are Samuel Asamoah, Nanabayin Amoah, Isahaku Fiseini, Rocky Dwamena, Richmond Opoku, Julius Ofori Ziggy, and Shadrack Addo.
These players struggled throughout last season and finished in sixth place with 49 points.
The club ended the season without a trophy, prompting a major overhaul of the squad to improve performance in the upcoming season.
Kotoko are expected to make several signings, with early links to goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who won the Golden Glove after keeping 17 clean sheets with Great Olympics, who have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League.
