Ghanaian giant, Asante Kotoko has mutually parted ways with as many as 11 players.
This has been announced by the club through a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In the statement on Tuesday, June 18, the club indicated that the players leaving the club include Kalo Ouattara, Nicholas Osei Bonsu, Isaac Oppong, Augustine Agyapong, and Nicholas Mensah.
The others are John Tedeku, Sherif Mohammed (Defender), George Mfegue, Serge Eric Zeze, Danlad Ibrahim, and Moise Pouaty.
The club statement stated, “The Club is grateful for their services and wish them the very best for the future.”
Asante Kotoko has offloaded all these players after a very tough season that saw the side fight to stay away from relegation at some point.
Although the team managed to recover, it only settled for a 6th-place finish and missed out on clinching the Ghana Premier League table.
