Football News I think it will end in a draw - Godwin Ablodey predicts Asante Kotoko v Hearts of Oak Super Clash

Ghana football legend, Godwin Ablodey, is eyeing a balanced outcome ahead of the much-anticipated Super Clash between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

The highly-anticipated showdown between the country's two most illustrious clubs is set to ignite the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, May 26, as part of Matchday 31 fixtures.

Reflecting on the impending clash, Ablodey, a former player of both esteemed clubs, perceives a shift in the traditional rivalry dynamics and wouldn't be taken aback if the encounter culminates in a draw.

"In this fixture, the dynamics of the rivalry have evolved, yet its essence remains palpable. Previously fueled by national team players, the rivalry burned fiercely," he shared with Akoma FM, based in Kumasi.

"This fixture seldom adheres to form guides. It's about which side exhibits greater resilience and character on the day," Ablodey asserted.

"I wouldn't be surprised if it concludes level, given Prosper Narteh Ogum's undefeated record against Hearts of Oak during his coaching tenure at Kotoko, and Ouattara's successful encounters against them as well," he noted.

Ablodey earnestly urged fans to recognize their pivotal role in the spectacle, emphasizing their significance in uplifting team morale.

"The fans are the lifeblood of these clubs. Their unwavering support is indispensable. Let's unite in numbers to propel our teams to victory," he implored.

Scheduled to kick off at 15:00GMT, the clash promises to be a riveting spectacle for football enthusiasts nationwide.
