This is the first time the Black Stars midfielder is playing for the Gunners since his injury in October 2023.
In the five months he has been on the sidelines, Thomas Partey missed as many as 25 matches for Arsenal in all competitions.
Now back to full fitness, his manager Mikel Arteta is hoping he will use his quality to help the team in the remainder of the 2023/24 football season.
Today, Thomas Partey missed out on the starting eleven of Arsenal but was named on the bench.
He was introduced in the game in the 65th minute when Arsenal had a huge 6-0 advantage.
After replacing Jorginho, Thomas Partey played his role in midfield very well and ensured the team controlled the game without conceding.
In the big win today, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Ben White scored for Arsenal.
The other goal was an own goal by Jayden Bogle.
After making his long-awaited return from injury, Thomas Partey is expected to be involved more for Arsenal in upcoming games as the team pushes to win the English Premier League title.
