Crystal Palace boss, Oliver Glasner, has heaped praise on the club's striker, Jordan Ayew, following the Ghanaian's second Player of the Month award of the season.
After winning in August, Ayew clinched the February award with over 54% of the votes from Palace fans.
His outstanding performance in the 3-0 triumph against Burnley last week, where he scored and assisted, marked his 200th appearance for the club, pushing his seasonal goal contributions to ten.
In a streak of fine form, Ayew showcased his flair in the Goodison Park battle against Everton, netting a contender for Premier League Goal of the Month.
Ayew's stellar performance won out against competition from Adam Wharton, a new signing, who managed to garner 16.9% of the votes, along with four other players in the running for February's accolade.
At the presentation of his award by teammates this week, manager Oliver Glasner applauded Ayew, affirming his significant role in the squad.
"He's a great player and a very important player for us. He has a lot of experience, a lot of quality, and he deserves it," Glasner remarked.
Glasner, who has recently succeeded Roy Hodgson as the head coach, has been particularly impressed with Ayew's consistency and anticipates even more from the dynamic forward in future fixtures.
