Ghana Premier League side, Medeama Sporting Club drew 1-1 with Young Africans in the CAF Champions League on Friday, December 8.
The Ghanaian Champions locked horns with the team from Tanzania at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today in a Round 3 encounter of the CAF top-tier inter-club competition.
In a game of exciting action, only two goals were scored with all the goals coming in the first half.
The host, Medeama Sporting Club equalised through striker Jonathan Sowah in the 26th minute when he converted a penalty kick.
Ten minutes later, a poor defensive showing from the home team allowed Young Africans to restore parity to the game.
The visitors scored through Peodoh Pacome Zouzoua with a low shot as the defenders of Medeama SC watched on.
The draw leaves Medeama SC second on the Group D standings of the CAF Champions League.
The Ghanaian champions have played three games in the group stages so far.
