Asante Kotoko striker, Steven Mukwala is optimistic about beating Hearts of Oak this weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors have recorded four wins in a role with the last win coming against Berekum Chelsea on Monday in the final game of the Matchday 12 games of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League. with Mukwala scoring the only goal of the game.
On the other side, Hearts of Oak have been poor in the ongoing season and are currently without a substantive head coach.
However, ahead of Kotoko's clash with their rivals at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, the 28-year-old beleives they are in good shape to beat Hearts of Oak.
“We are expecting a good game because we’ve picked our momentum now. With the form we have now, I think we shall win the match” he told StarTimes.
The win put Asante Kotoko in the 7th position with 19 points, five points behind league leaders Aduana FC.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak who are having a seemly challenging season sit three points behind Kotoko in 8th position.
They have won just one of their last five games in all competitions, losing two of those.
