Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Nsoatreman FC has been attacked by fans of Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday.
In a highly anticipated clash, Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman FC locked horns at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday in the Bono Derby in the matchday 11 games.
However, the game ended goalless after 90 minutes of action.
After the game, fans of the home side attacked, Maxwell Konadu, players and match officials.
According to the irate fans, they don't understand why they have dropped points against Nsoatreman FC.
The former Asante Kotoko coach was hurt and has therefore been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The main entrance of the stadium was locked by the fans. However, the match officials had to lock themselves in a room.
Meanwhile, some players of Nsoatreman FC and their fans also sustained injuries.
Nsoatreman FC are second on the Ghana Premier League table with 20 points whiles Bofoakwa Tano sit 5th spot with 16 points after 11 games.
