Ghana international, Kamaldeen Sulemana has fully recovered from the injury that saw him miss the start of the 2023/24 football season in England.
The talented winger until today had missed the first five matches of Southampton in the English Championship.
In a Week 6 encounter of the Championship season, Kamaldeen Sulemana was introduced at halftime to help the Saints fight for a comeback victory.
Unfortunately, his return from injury rather ended badly.
He flew in with a very dangerous tackle in added time and left the referee with no choice but to show him a red card and send him off.
With a game to forget, Kamaldeen Sulemana must learn from today’s experience, work harder in training, and come back better.
In the game at the St. Mary’s Stadium today, Leicester City made light work of Southampton to bag all three points.
The Foxes scored in the first minute through star striker Jamie Vardy. Courtesy of other goals from Kasey McAteer, Wilfred Ndidi, and Stephy Mavidid, Leicester City cruised to a delightful 4-1 win.
Samuel Edozie netted the only consolation goal for Southampton in the 25th minute.
