Former Asante Kotoko captain, Ismail Abdul Ganiyu has reported Congolese side, TP Mazembe to FIFA over financial issues.
The experienced defender joined the Congolese side from Kuwaiti side, Al Talaba on a 2-and-a-half-year deal in February 2023.
However, reports have emerged that the club are yet to pay his sign-on fees since he joined them.
Ganiyu has previously played for the defunct Wa All Stars before being snapped up by premier league club, Karela United.
He switched camp to record Ghana Premier League holders, Asante Kotoko in 2018 where he enjoyed three fruitful seasons.
The lanky central defender won the Ghana Premier League title with the Porcupine Warriors in the 2021/22 season before departing for Kuwait.
His time at Kotoko helped him earn a call-up to the Black Stars for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers but was excluded from the final squad for the main tournament in Cameroon.
