Samuel Eto'o marked his return to the Barcelona starting line-up with a coolly-taken goal as the Spanish champions beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0.
The Cameroon striker, who is returning after over four months out following knee surgery, scored his side's third goal five minutes before the break.
He drilled the ball low past the keeper after latching on to a Ronaldinho pass. In February Eto'o refused to come on as a substitute against Racing Santander, saying he needed a longer warm-up.
The three-times African Player of the Year was then left out of the squad for the matches against Valencia and Liverpool at his own request.
