Miners stop Black Magicians

AshantiGold managed a 2-1 win over Gamba All Blacks at the Len Clay stadium.

The Miners are equal on points with Kotoko who are second but lead their rivals by goals difference.

Alex Asamoah scored the fastest goal in the premiership when he put AshantiGold in the lead after 30 seconds of play.

The Black Magicians however had to wait until late in the first half when Obed Owusu with some seconds to end the half drew level.

Bcak from recess, substitute striker, Shaibu Yakubu sealed victory for the Miners when he scored the second goal.
