Brands and Commercial manager of Nations FC, Kennedy Boakye-Ansah has said the club is in the Ghana Premier League to stay.

The Division One League side booked their qualification as Zone Two champions of the National Division One League.

Nations FC sealed their promotion two weeks ago with a remarkable come-from-behind 3-2 victory against WAFA.

Ahead of their maiden Premier League campaign next season, Boakye-Ansah insists they are in the topflight to compete and stay.

"We are in the Premier League to stay," he told Kumasi-based Pure FM.

"We want to do what Aduana Stars did. They have been in the Premier League since their maiden qualification and that is what we want to do.

"Before the Premier League, we will make sure we do the right things that will help us to stay but we are here to stay," he added.

Meanwhile, Nations FC will be crowned champions of Zone Two after they secure promotion to the Ghana Premier League.

The coronation ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese, where they will face Asokwa Deportivo.

Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku, Members of the Division One League Board, and officials from Access Bank will be present at the ceremony to present Nations FC with the winners' trophy, medals, and prize money.
