Interim Asante Kotoko, Abdul Gazale, is eyeing a win against Tamale City FC following their draw against Legon Cities on Thursday.

The Porcupine Warriors were hosted at the El-Wak in the matchday 24 games.

Skipper Richard Boadu broke the deadlock in the 17th minute but the Royals equalized through Alex Aso on the 70th-minute mark.

Ahead of their matchday 25 games against Tamale City at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, Gazale is targeting a win after dropping two points at Legon Cities.

“We came here with our mindset of getting the three points but unfortunately, we conceded in the second half. We were thinking of getting the maximum points but the nature of the pitch didn’t help at all," said Gazale.

“We will go back to the drawing board, work on a few things and start to think about what to do in the next match,” said Abdulai after the game.

Gazale has taken charge of the defending champions temporarily following the dismissal of Seydou Zerbo.

Kotoko occupy the 6th on the league log with 35 points.
