The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League is continuing this weekend with games being played in Week 23.

On Friday, March 24, the first of the games this weekend was played when Kotoku Royals hosted King Faisal at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

In the exciting game this afternoon, six goals were produced with the home team having the better of the away side.

Kotoku Royals today set up strong with the sole ambition of amassing the maximum three points.

Following a very good start to the game, a strike from Francis Andy Kumi in the 12th minute handed the hosts a deserved lead.

Later before the end of the first half, goals from Augustine Boakye and Richard Dzikoe in the 39th and 43rd minutes respectively gave the home team a massive lead to take into the break.

Although goals from Godfred Asiamah and Abdul Latif would give King Faisal a fighting chance, the team could not complete a comeback and suffered a 4-2 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

The win is a boost for Kotoku Royals in their push to escape relegation from the Ghana Premier League.

However, the team remains in the relegation zone with King Faisal and Tamale City.
