2023 AFCON Qualifiers: Angola to arrive in Ghana today for Black Stars clash on Thursday

The Palancas Negras of Angola will arrive in Ghana later today for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers.

The Palancas Negras will fly directly from their camp based in Algeria straight to the Kumasi airport.

Pedro Goncalves has the full house after replacing injured trio of Nurio Fortuna, Zito Luvumbo and Nelson Da Luz with Augusto To Carneiro, Loide Augusto and Geraldo Costa Bartolomeu respectively.

Ghana face Angola on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 16:00GMT.

The Black Stars will travel to Luanda for the return leg game in four days' time.

Both sides will train at the Baba Yara Stadium later today before the game on Thursday evening.

Chris Hughton, who is the new head coach for the side will hope to begin on a good note having signed a year and half deal.

The Black Stars are joint top of Group E alongside Angola with both teams with four points after two games.
