Asante Kotoko release 20-man travelling squad for FC Samartex showdown

Assistant coach Orlando Wellington has released a 20-man squad for their matchday 22 game against FC Samartex.

The Porcupine Warriors will be hosted at the Nana Nsenkyire Sports Arena later today with kick off scheduled at 15:00GMT.

Danlad Ibrahim and Augustine Agyapong are not part of the team due to their engagement with the Black Meteors as they prepare to take on Algeria.

However, the club has been handed a major boost with the return of Justice Blay from the treatment room.

The injury list includes Rashid Nortey, Maxwell Agyemang, Isaac Oppong, Yusif Mubarik, and Dickson Afoakwa, who are still unavailable for the trip.

Asante Kotoko will be eyeing for a positive result against Samartex to keep their Ghana Premier League title defense hopes alive.
