You left me in the middle of the ocean – Atsu’s twin sister weeps

Christian Atsu’s twin sister, Christiana Atsupie, is weeping profusely, seeing that her beloved brother will be buried today.

The late footballer who was trapped in an earthquake in Turkey to death is currently laying in state at the State House in Accra today, Friday, March 17.

Paying her last respect to her twin brother, Atsupie recounted the lovely treatment Atsu used to give her.

According to her, the former Chelsea and Newcastle player’s demise has shortened the moment they planned to live together, saying, "You left me in the middle of the ocean, as we are not done with our plans and the love we share together."

Her full tribute reads; “Atsu, my heartbeat, the love of my life, my husband, my world, my role model. I journey to Turkey with the motive of returning to UK with you alive after the news of the earthquake. But as the holy book always says our thoughts, ways and plans are not of his plans.

“You have a mother's heart. Atsu and do say "Atsuple is okey, just overlook it, it's nothing". Atsu, you left me in the middle of the ocean, as we are not done with our plans and the love we share together. Atsu. I pray you and the Almighty God grant me the strength to overcome this pain and permanent scar and to continue with your good deeds. Atsu, I love you beyond everything, but the Almighty God loves you more, rest in perfect peace, love, till we meet again.”
