Ghana and Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has lauded the impact his parents have had on him, saying he also gets coaching lessons from them.
The 29-year-old has been on a fine form for the Gunners in the ongoing Premier League season.
Partey has made 27 appearances in all competitions so far in the 2022/23 football season and has three goals to his belt.
In an interview with SuperSport, the midfielder revealed that he does get coaching lessons from his parents.
"Both my parents are my coaches. There are instances during a game when I feel I can just chip the ball, but she [his mother] would be like, 'Why don't I just attempt shooting often."
He will hope to make Mikel Arteta's lineup for their all-important fixture against Sporting CP in round 16 of the UEFA Europa League this Thursday.
