Dreams Football Club have climbed further away from the relegation zone after seeing off Asante Kotoko with a 2-0 win on Sunday afternoon.

The two clubs locked horns at the Dawu Park today in a Week 17 encounter of the Ghana Premier League season.

At the end of a tough encounter that excited fans, the home team carried the day and amassed the three crucial points.

Dreams Football Club opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Gael Aholou equalised with a fine strike.

Despite a strong fight from Asante Kotoko to get back into the game, the team failed to find the back of the net.

Fortunately, for Dreams FC, the team grabbed a vital second goal in the 59th minute through leading striker Agyenim Boateng.

In the end, the Still Believe lads have silenced the Porcupine Warriors and have now moved to 10th on the Ghana Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko are finishing Week 17 in the 4th position of the league log.
