Alpha Lotto Limited, a private lotto operator in Accra, has presented a cheque of GHC 50,000 to Ghana’s only Under-20 FIFA World Cup winning coach, Sellas Tetteh, towards his well-being.

An official of Alpha Lotto, Mr Raymond Nukamewor presenting the cheque said, said “Alpha Lotto was heartbroken when we heard the coach and a national asset lamenting in the media of his hardship.

“Thus, as part of Alpha Lotto’s Corporate Social Responsibility, we present our cheque of GHC 50,000 to "Borboo", as he is affectionately called.

“We hope our widow's mite will go a long way to help in paying his medical bills and also help in his general well-being.

Mr Nukamewor called on other well-meaning Ghanaians - both individuals and corporate bodies - to come to Coach Tetteh’s aid, stressing the importance to honour our heroes while they are alive.

Receiving the cheque, Coach Tetteh thanked Alpha Lotto Limited for cushioning him and also being a life-saver to him.

The former Black Starlets and Black Satellites coach and Black Stars assistant coach has been in the news lately calling on well-meaning Ghanaians to come to his aid due to his deteriorating health.
