My move to India is motivated by money; GPL cannot give me that - Richard Osei Agyemang

Ghanaian defender, Richard Osei Agyemang has opened up on why he has moved to India to continue his career.

On Monday, the experienced centre-back completed a move to sign for Indian I-League club Real Kashmir.

Speaking to Wontumi FM in an interview, Richard Osei Agyemang said he joined the club in India to chase money.

“No Ghana premier league player can boast of 50k cedis in his account for playing in the league for 5 to 6 years. I decided to move to India because of money. The GPL can’t afford that.” Richard Osei Agyemang explained.

The defender in the past played for Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold SC.

He is now opening a new chapter of his career in India where he is confident he will be able to play a key role for Real Kashmir.

The club is delighted with the signing of the Ghanaian and believes he will be able to help the side achieve its targets.
