Ghana head coach, Otto Addo has named his starting eleven for the clash against Portugal this evening.

After days of waiting, the Black Stars are finally set to play their first match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup today.

With an hour to kick off, Coach Otto Addo has named Lawrence Ati-Zigi as his goalkeeper for the encounter.

The Germany-trained tactician is going into the contest with a five-back system that has Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, and Mohammed Salisu as the centre-backs.

Full-backs Alidu Seidu and Baba Abdul Rahman will be playing the wing-back roles for the Black Stars.

In midfielder, poster boy Thomas Partey is starting the game and will partner RC Lens midfielder Salis Abdul Samed.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus, Andre Ayew, and Inaki Williams are the attackers for this evening’s big game.

The encounter between Ghana and Portugal is scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT.

In the other Group H game, Uruguay and South Korea have drawn goalless earlier today.
