Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana has visited the hotel of the Black Stars ahead of their 2022 World Cup opener against Portugal later today.
The President left the shores of the country on Wednesday evening for Doha.
Following his arrival in the Golf country, Akufo Addo held talks with the playing body and the technical team ahead of their opener.
Ghana will face the European side at the 974 Stadium with kick off scheduled at 16:00GMT.
The Black Stars will subsequently take on South Korea and Uruguay all in their Group H games.
Ghana are making a record 4th World Cup appearance in Qatar having previously played in the 2006, 2010 and 2014 in Germany, South Africa and Brazil respectively.
The West African country will hope to put up an improved performance having exited at the group phase in 2014 in Brazil.
