The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extended a goodwill message to the Black Stars ahead of the opening Group H match against Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In a video message on his social media, the Vice President accompanied his message with amazing football skills that have got Ghanaians talking.
Some Ghanaians who were impressed praised Dr. Bawumia and jovially said he should be part of the Black Stars squad in Qatar for the World Cup.
“Bawumia can play better than Hearts of Oak’s Afriyie Bannie.
“Eiii!!! Very skillful.
“Wow!!! Amazing skills Vice President DMB.
“Very skillful and still strong at your old age your, Your Excellency,” some people commented under Vice President Bawumia’s post.
As expected, not all Ghanaians were impressed with the display of skill by the Vice President.
Some Ghanaians blasted the Vice President, stressing that he should focus on arresting the dollar and addressing issues relating to the economic crisis.
“The "tactics" can't be used to arrest the dollar.
“Don’t come and mess up this one too for us with your bad luck,” some of the comments under the post read.
