Famed Ghanaian fetish priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has passed some advice to the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo on how Ghana can excel in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He warned the coach never to play captain Dede Ayew alongside his younger brother Jordan Ayew in one game.

If that happens, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, in an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM, posited that the team will lose that particular game and the subsequent ones.

“In the realms of the spirit, it’s not good to start Dede and Jordan together.

"When this happens, the match will favour the opposing team. The two players must not be allowed to start a game together,” he warned.

Nana Kwaku Bonsam stressed, “What I’m saying is spiritual hence not many people will understand me.”

In furtherance, Nana Kwaku Bonsam predicted a 2-0 win for the Black Stars in their first game against Portugal if only the coach would heed his advice.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars of Ghana are currently rated as the lowest-performing team among the 32 countries, at 61 on the FIFA world rankings for the tournament, followed by Saudi Arabia.

However, after an incredible performance against the Swiss national team in a friendly game on Thursday, November 17, where the Stars walked over their opponents by 2-0, many now have faith the team is ready to compete.

Ghana is set to lock horns with the Portuguese side on Thursday, November 24 in Doha at Stadium 974, in their first World Cup Group Stage campaign.

The Black Stars will move ahead to meet South Korea on Monday, November 28, and finally Uruguay on Friday, December 2.
