Tottenham Hotspur summer signing, Richarlison bagged a brace on Friday evening to propel Brazil to defeat Ghana 3-0 in Le Havre, France.

The North American side today locked horns with the West African giant in a game scheduled to help the two sides to prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

In a game that many Ghanaians hoped for a good result after the addition of new players, the Black Stars started slowly and looked shaky at the back.

Without any surprise, Brazil capitalised on the poor defensive display of Ghana and scored through a Marquinhos header to shoot the Samba Boys into a deserved lead.

Before halftime, Richarlison scored twice in the 28th and 40th minutes respectively to increase the lead for the North American side.

Paris Saint-Germain poster boy Neymar assisted the two goals for the former Everton star.

Despite fears that Brazil will run riot over the opponent in the second half, Ghana improved and managed to avoid shipping in more goals.

The introduction of Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, and others in the second half made it clear that Ghana could do better on a different day.

Coach Otto Addo must have taken lessons from the game ahead of the second friendly against Nicaragua.

That game will be played on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
