Ghana coach, Otto Addo has said the door is still open for more players to come through ahead of the Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

With the team preparing for the Brazil and Nicaragua friendly games, Athletic Bilbao forward, Inaki Williams, Brighton defender, Tariq Lamptey, Southampton defender, Mohammed Salisu, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer, and Stephen Ambrosius have all been named in Ghana's squad for the games.

Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi among other players according to reports are on the verge of completing their nationality to play for the West African country

With less than three months away from the start of the Mundial, Otto Addo says the door is still open for more players to join the team.

“I don’t know [if I will change team before WC] because it’s the performance which decides," he told the press on Thursday.

"It could be that someone performs very badly and we have to take him out. Nothing is written in stone. I think the major players are here but surely anything can happen," the Borussia Dortmund assistant coach said.

Ghana will take on the five-times world champions at the Le Harve in France on Friday, September 23 before playing Nicaragua in Spain on Tuesday, September 27.

The games form part of the Black Stars' preparations for the global showpiece.
