Accra, Aug 29, GNA - The Minister of Education and Sports will on Thursday, September 1, take his turn at the meet the press series at the Ministry of Information.
A statement issued from the Information Service Department signed by Mr D .A. Kwapong, Acting Director said the meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, but had to be rescheduled due to the visit of the officials of the Confederations Africa Football (CAF). The officials are in the country to inspect progress of work by the nation for the hosting of CAN 2008 by Ghana.
Issues expected to dominate proceedings at the conference are the closure and renovation works of the various stadia for the hosting of the tournament.
