Chairman of the Black Galaxies, Dr. Tony Aubynn is confident his side is ready for their clash against Nigeria in the CAF Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
Ghana will face their sworn rivals later this month at the Accra Stadium in the first of two legs and the winner qualifies to compete at the 2023 CHAN in Algeria.
“We are quite ready for Nigeria, we are not going to relax until we have overcome Nigeria," the Ghana Football Association [GFA] Executive Council member said as reported by Citi Sports.
"I know they are very serious about us given the history…we are also motivated to do what we know best,” he added.
The Black Galaxies beat Benin 4-0 on aggregate in the previous round and will compete in a four-nation friendly tournament in Austria before taking on Nigeria.
The Black Galaxies are also expected to engage in a four-nation tournament ahead of the game against Nigeria.
