After following the action from Friday, August 12, to Sunday, August 14, Modernghana Sports partner SofaScore has put together a list of the Top 10 highest-rated players.
As the 2022 FIFA World Cup approaches, it has become key to keep tabs on the performance of players abroad.
In the Top 10 list, there is clear dominance from young players pushing to get into the good books of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.
US-based Kwadwo Opoku who is only 21 years was the star of the weekend as he excelled as a substitute to help his Los Angeles FC side to cruise past Charlotte FC with a huge 5-0 victory in the ongoing MLS season.
Courtesy of impressive displays from other youngsters including Isaac Atanga, Nicholas Opoku, and Mohammed Dauda for their respective clubs, they are all included in the list of Top 10 highest-rated players.
Below is the full list featuring Ghanaian veteran and USL legend Solomon Asante.
Later this evening, Ghana duo Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp will be in action when Crystal Palace takes on Liverpool in the English Premier League.
Players must continue to improve their performances in the next few months at their clubs to stand any chance of making it into the Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars have a number of international friendly matches lined up before that tournament.
