Real Tamale United (RTU) head coach, Shaibu Tanko, has stepped down from his role at the club ahead of the 2022/23 Ghana football season.
The Northern-based side finished 15th with 41 points, escaping relegation on the final day against Hearts of Oak.
The former Hearts of Oak gaffer, Tanko, has decided against extending his deal with the club after signing one year contract ahead of last season.
Despite the club's effort to keep him, the UDS lecturer has left his role.
He led RTU back into the GPL, after winning the Division One Zone One league for the 2020/21 season.
RTU are yet to begin its preseason ahead of the upcoming season.
