Atletico Bilbao forward, Inaki Williams is already looking forward to making his debut for the Ghana national team days after confirming his nationality switch.

Despite representing the Spain national team in the past, the highly-rated forward has managed to switch his allegiance to feature for the Black Stars.

The news was confirmed by the forward on Wednesday through a video posted on his Twitter page and backed by an official statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Speaking to 3Sports in an interview, Inaki Williams has indicated that he understands the Black Stars represent the people and he will do his best to put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians.

“It [Black Stars] represents all the people. All the kids have a dream to play for the Black Stars and when I have the opportunity I will work hard for the children who will one day see me on TV.

“This moment is coming for me to put on that shirt. I am going to work hard to raise the flag. I am going to do everything for Black Stars and make all the people smile with me,” Inaki Williams shared.

The Atletico Madrid attacking sensation is expected to be included in the next Ghana squad that will be assembled for any international assignment.
