Former Hearts of Oak Team Manager, W.O Tandoh has reacted for the first time after leaving the club last week.

The former Aduana Stars assistant coach has left his role as the physical trainer and the welfare manager of the Phobian side.

His resignation has generated a lot of controversies in the media space.

Speaking in an interview, W.O Tandoh said he parted ways with the club because he was not appreciated enough by the Board Members adding that the team were aware of his intentions to leave before their game against Real Tamale United [RTU].

He also added that the Majority Shareholder of the club, Togeb Afede XIV is wasting his resources on the club due to the fractions within the club.

"The team knew I had written my resignation letter before the RTU game," he told Asempa FM.

"I wasn't appreciated and I wasn't free to work and I feel Togbe Afede is wasting his money," he added.

Despite the torrid campaign, Hearts of Oak finished in the 6th position with 48 points.

The Phobians will represent the country in the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup campaign having defended the FA Cup successfully.
