Hearts of Oak prodigy Marvin Dsane picks talented Messi over hardworking Ronaldo

Hearts of Oak’s U20 midfielder, Marvin Dsane has selected Lionel Messi as his best player in the world ahead of rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite admiring both football greats, the teenager says he is convinced Messi is the better player courtesy of the enormous talent he possesses.

“Messi is a talent; Ronaldo is a talent as well but you can see that Messi’s talent is ahead of Ronaldo but Ronaldo is a very hard-working player.

“Everyone wants to be like Ronaldo but we wish to have Messi’s talent so I see both of them at the highest level and I rate them at the same level.

“I don’t want to choose between the two but I like Messi he’s talent, when you watch Messi, you see the beauty of the game and Ronaldo will give you what it takes to be a player,” Marvin Dsane told MX24TV in an interview.

The talented midfielder further explained his position saying, "You need to work hard; you need to be hard working to reach the level Ronaldo has gotten to. Messi is a rare talent you hardly see players like Messi.”

Marvin Dsane, 19, displayed impressive form for Hearts of Oak’s youth team, Auroras in the 2021/22 Division Tow League.

He played an important role for the team throughout the campaign and helped Auroras to finish 10^th in Zone 5 of the lower-tier league.
