Asante Kotoko: I have received over 5000 offers for Franck Mbella Etouga - Agent
Franck Mbella's agent, Amadou Fontem Tigana, has revealed that over 5000 offers have come for the Asante Kotoko forward following his explosive performance.
The 21-year-old in his maiden season in the Ghana topflight has scored 21 goals and propelled the Reds to title success.
Reports in the local media suggest that European clubs are chasing for the services of the young forward.
Tigana, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of O of Royal Soccer Scout Management Agency speaking in an interview said Mbella has given him more recognition than all the players he's managed so far.
According to him, he rejected offers from South Africa to allow him to join Kotoko because of their pedigree.
“Because of Etouga I have got more than 5000 calls," he told Accra-based Happy FM.
"I have been managing top Cameroonian players like Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu of Young Boys. So I am not after the money but because of Etouga, the connection I have is more than the other players I am even managing.
"I had a contract for him at South Africa but I preferred he went to Ghana. Asante Kotoko platform is very big. I sent him here with the notion that he will not last more than two years," he added.
