Great Olympics showed no mercy to Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon when the two teams locked horns in a matchday 33 encounter of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

In a game played at the Accra Sports Stadium, Olympics proved very efficient in front of goal and scored three times to thrash the Phobians.

On the matchday, Amos Acheampong opened the scoring for the home team after just 19 minutes into the first half.

Some 14 minutes later, the inability of Hearts of Oak’s defense to deal with the sharp attack of Great Olympics resulted in another goal.

Attack Yussif Abdul Razak was presented with a good chance in the away team’s final third and made no mistake as he scored with a fine finish to double the lead for his team.

Unable to come back into the game in the second half, things went from bad to worse for Hearts of Oak in the second half.

The Olympics defense proved a tough nut to crack for most parts of the second half before Yussif Abdul Razak netted his second of the day to complete his brace and also seal a deserved 3-0 win for Great Olympics against the poor Phobians.

After the win, Olympics have moved to sixth on the Ghana Premier League table but still behind Hearts of Oak in fifth.
