Techiman Eleven Wonders on Wednesday afternoon laboured to come from behind to beat Hearst of Oak 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
The two clubs today locked horns at the Ohene Ameyaw Park to clear the outstanding matchday 30 match of the 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Just 11 minutes into the first half, Hearts of Oak took the lead through striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr.
Unfortunately, the team failed to capitalise on the momentum after that goal. With the hosts staying determined throughout the remainder of the first half, the team scored on the stroke of halftime to restore parity.
It was all thanks to talisman Tetteh Nortey who equalised after showing good fighting spirit.
In the second half of many actions, Hearts of Oak could have won the game but failed to take the chances created.
Eventually, a strike from Sumaila Moro in injury time propelled Eleven Wonders to secure an important 2-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
The three points amassed after the win have seen Eleven Wonders climbing out of the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League standings.
For Hearts of Oak, the poor showing today has resulted in a second consecutive defeat in the last four days.
