Kumasi Asante Kotoko has sealed the deal for RTU'S talented goalkeeper Alhassan Habbib. The young goalkeeper was in Accra earlier in the week to sign Kotoko's Africa card and will soon start training with the team.

Kotoko are also waiting for response from officials of city rivals King Faisal for the possibility of signing the trio of Eric Gawu, Abubakari Yahuza and Shilla Illiasu. The three players have openly declared their intentions to don the red shirt of the Porcupine Warriors next season but officials of King Faisal are yet to come to the negotiating table to conclude a deal for the players.

Alhaji Grunsah's 'precious jewels' have become the subject of media reports linking the players to Kotoko and Hearts but according to the three players, it is either Kotoko or they are not interested in moving to any other club.

Special Assistant to the C.E.O., Kwame-Owusu Ansah, confirmed to the Kotoko Express that former Etoile Filante Burkinabe striker Ali Ouadragou and Daniel Kwakwa who has had a professional stint in Europe, have started training with Kotoko for Coach Hans Schmidt to assess them for possible signing.

Mr. Owusu-Ansah also intimated that Kotoko were likely to grab Sekondi Hasaacas duo of Saliu Muntari and Anthony Annan for next season after reaching agreement on personal terms with the players and also their managers but Kotoko will however have to wait until after the crucial play-off between Hasaacas and Okwawu United to determine who stays in the Premier division and who gets relegated to division one, before the deal is sealed with the pride of the West.
