Kwamikrom, Aug. 25, GNA - Kwamikrom Gbewah Cards Club beat their local rivals, Star Club by 600 to 576 points in a four-seat cards friendly competition at Kwamikrom on Sunday. Gbewah Club received a crate of coca cola soft drinks, four packets of playing cards and a cash prize of 650,000 cedis as their award.
Mr. Charles Yevuga, Gbewah's match commissioner told the GNA Sports that his club had also beaten Brown Club 600-497 and 600-524 points twice in the year. Mr. Yevuga said the competition forms part of the preparations of the Gbewah Club for a scheduled league at the close of the year.
