Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew's writs watch has been stolen at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday night.

Andre who is suspended for the game arrived in the Ashanti Regional capital on Thursday afternoon.

The Al Sadd forward was at the stadium to support the team to wrap up their final training session ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoff first leg game tonight.

After a successful training and media interaction, Ayew was mobbed by over hundreds of fans who were hailing him while others wanted to have a picture with him for future memories.

In the process, the Fifa U-20 World Cup winner lost his watch and gold chain worth around £20,000 in the process.

Although the person who stole the items was not seen immediately as police escorted Ayew to the team bus.

The much-anticipated gas has been scheduled to kick off at 19:30GMT.
