Ghanaian youngster, Felix Ohene Afena-Gyan has been named as the fastest player in the Italian Serie A.
The 19-year-old ended January as the fastest player seeing off competition from Italy international Ciro Immobile and Ecuadorian Juan Cuadrado.
Afena-Gyan was very instrumental in the month of January, starting games against Juventus, Cagliari and Lecce after his breakthrough later in the year 2021.
The promising forward had a speed of 35.6 km/h ahead of Lazio’s Ciro Immobile who clocked 35.3 km/h and Juventus’ Juan Cuadrado, who ticked 33.4 km/h.
Afena became an important player and made a name for himself when he scored two superb goals against Genoa late last year, having made his debut against Cagliari earlier in the season.
He has so far made nine appearances in the Italian topflight and scored two goals for AS Roma.
Afena-Gyan is yet to make his debut for the Black Stars.
