Ace utility player, Mercy Amorkor Tagoe aka ‘Sabato’ has moved to Simba Queens (Simba Sports Club) in Tanzania after a short stint at Cape Coast-based Lady Strikers.

Speaking to Yours Truly on phone, Mercy hoped to put her best available for the club, as she feels happy to play for one of the big clubs in Africa. Simba Sports Club was founded in 1936.

“It is a dream come true because I always want to be on top with the best players and best club,” she said.

After playing for top female football clubs in Ghana, West Africa and UEA, she feels it is time to repackage and move on with a different personality.

Her desire is to play for the national women's football team, the Black Queens and move to a big club in Europe or USA.

Mercy Tagoe believes in herself and knows she can play at the highest level.
