Former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has admitted that he was nervous ahead of Ghana's group game against Gabon.
The Black Stars having suffered a 1-0 defeat against Morocco in their opening game on Monday were held to a 1-1 against the Panthers on Friday night.
Andre Ayew scored on the 18th minute but Jim Allevinah scored on the 88th minute.
The stalemate mean Gabon have booked a place in the Round of 16 place.
The former Sunderland and Liberty Professionals striker speaking after the game said he was confident of a win but was nervous.
"I was nervous ahead of the game because we lost against Morocco and we needed a reaction and the players came to the party and proved that they are in for the tournament," Gyan, 35, said on SuperSport TV.
"It was a game for the Black Stars and as I have said, the best of the Black Stars is yet to come," he added.
Ghana, who sit 3rd with just a point will take on Comoros on Tuesday in their final group game.
