The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has, as part of efforts to inject greater efficiency into the Sports sector, commenced a process of thorough restructuring aimed at accelerating the momentum for development.
To this end, the acting Chief Executive of the National Sports Council has been re-appointed to the Ministry as Director of Sports Development.
An official statement signed by Mr Gordon Ayer Adjei, Special Assistant to the Minister, said Reverend Osei Kofi has also been appointed as National Games Co-ordinator on an initial two-year contract.
The statement said other appointments would follow in due course.
