Accra, Sept 4, GNA - The association of the Ghana Deaf Federation in conjunction with the Association for Sports for the Deaf has said the 5th edition of the national sports festival slated for September 11-14 will kick start at Akropong-Akwapim in the Eastern Region.
The festival, which will take place at the Akropong-Akwapim Training College, will see participants vying for honours in all the field events and indoor games including Table Tennis, Volleyball and soccer.
According to information gathered by the GNA Sports, the National Deaf Soccer team will engage the second division teams of Champion Club, Accra Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics respectively at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 27 as part of the International Week for the Deaf celebration.
