The National Table Tennis championship would kick off at S.C. Apenteng Wesley Hall at Koforidua on Saturday February 15.
The one-day championship, which is being sponsored by Akosombo Textiles Limited, is expected to draw 325 players from six regions in the country.
Mr. Vincent Arhin Chief coach of the Ghana Table Tennis association told the GNA Sports that 250 players have registered from Koforidua, while Accra has 50 registered participants.
The coach said more participants are expected to register by the close of Friday 14.
He said so far Central, Ashanti, Western and Volta Regions have registered 10, 8,4 and 3 participants respectively.
The coach said the competition would be for honours in Men and Women singles and boys and girls Under17.
There would be cash prizes and wax prints for outstanding players.
