Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko ruthlessly dispatched PAC Academy 6-0 in a pre-season friendly match on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
The Kumasi-based club returned to Ghana last Friday after spending three weeks in Dubai, UAE where the team held a pre-season training camp.
Throughout that camp, Asante Kotoko played two friendly matches but failed to record a single win.
With two draws and one defeat, the Porcupine Warriors club is back in Ghana and applying finishing touches in order to be ready for the start of the 2021/2022 league season.
Today at the club’s Adako Jachie grounds, Asante Kotoko hosted PAC Academy in a final pre-season friendly match.
In a game where the Reds dominated play, Ismail Ganiu and Joseph Amoako netted a brace each for coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s outfit.
In addition to a goal from Samuel Boateng, an own goal from PAC Academy ensured that Asante Kotoko cruised to a big 6-0 win at the end of the exercise.
On the opening weekend of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season, Asante Kotoko will play as a guest to Dreams FC.
