Kumasi Asante Kotoko have called off its friendly match against UAE outfit Atletico Arabia FC.
The Ghana Premier League giants earlier today announced that it will face the UAE lower-tier club in a friendly match as part of its training tour in Dubai before the next football season starts.
This season, a separate post on the club’s Twitter page has disclosed that the scheduled friendly match has been cancelled.
According to Asante Kotoko, it will instead play a different friendly match on Thursday before returning to Ghana on Friday, October 22, 2021.
Since arriving in Dubai, Asante Kotoko have played two friendly matches but yet to record a win.
First, the club lost 1-0 to Al-Hilal before subsequently drawing 1-1 with Liwa FC in the second friendly.
